Since 1988, Medical Indicators (MII) has specialized in the manufacture of single-use and reusable clinical thermometers for infection prevention and reduction. MII’s products are used in thousands of acute care hospitals, dialysis centers, clinics, long term care facilities, national health services, and physician’s offices around the world.  Most are used for one simple reason – patient safety and care. MII products reduce the likelihood of infectious agents being transferred from reusable equipment to patients. Some infectious agents, such as C.difficile, MRSA, Norovirus and Rotavirus are highly contagious and spread easily through person-to person contact, and object-to-person contact. This can be particularly devastating for a patient afflicted with other medical complications. MII’s products are specifically designed to circumvent this infection transfer risk by eliminating the use of reusable equipment which often carries infectious disease.

Although MII’s devices appear simplistic, they are accurate, clinical medical devices. The accuracy is the same as, or better than other thermometers commonly used in a healthcare setting.

MII products are US FDA listed, CE Marked, and manufactured exclusively in New Jersey USA, operating under Quality System ISO 13485: 2003 using US-made medical-grade materials.

All of MII’s products are compley safe, mercury-free, non-toxic, and latex-free.
